RÉPUBLIQUE
The historic setting in which République resides was originally erected in 1929 by Charlie Chaplin, and later transformed into the iconic La Brea Bakery and Campanile Restaurant. Chef Walter and Chef Margarita have built on this storied past, offering a gastronomic environment imbued with history and grandeur. The space features a casual bakery, café, and bar in the front with a more formal dining area located in the rear, serving a French-inspired menu created daily by our chefs.
BICYCLETTE BISTRO
Bicyclette is a Parisian-inspired restaurant featuring the best of Paris’s iconic bistro culture and California’s fresh ingredients. The bistro resides in a building that houses two spaces; with Bicyclette down below, and their Michelin-starred tasting menu restaurant Manzke above. Chefs Walter and Margarita’s menus are inspired from their experiences of cooking and dining their way through France and take advantage of the best seasonal ingredients in both California and beyond.

Manzke Restaurant is a Michelin-starred restaurant by its namesakes—Chefs Walter and Margarita Manzke—which draws inspiration from cultural intersections both local to Los Angeles and abroad. The heterogeneity of Southern California is given life through influences from Latin America, Asia, and Europe, with product-driven, hyper-seasonal ingredients sourced from the finest purveyors available. Manzke builds on the chefs’ deep culinary roots; a culmination of decades of experience coming to fruition in their most ambitious and refined restaurant yet.
